A manual Merc? Neat. Never seen one of these.....EVER. Must be pretty special regardless of it’s condition.

No idea these came with a manual, but I'm tempted to say CP, unfortunately; that's in pretty rough shape, and all the tacky chrome doesn't help, and to me, I can't see any huge advantages of a manual in something like an SL

It has the AMG spoiler, but not the AMG engine...

Never seen a manual Merc? I remember a time when most of them, S class excepted, were manual. The A and B classes still often are.

Take a taxi in Europe. Eastern Europe anyway. Slovakia, Czech Republic, etc... they’re everywhere. I’ve been jealous as hell for years!

It’s rather funny that the owner is selling because he/she does not have room for the car, but would trade for a 914 or Datsun S30z. Seems like there might be room after all.

The SLK was the last Mercedes you could get in north america with a manual... alas, no more

You used to be able to get manual SLKs and C Classes. The Crossfire, which was a Karmann SLK, was available in manual in mid range Limited trim. It makes me happy. My girlfriend drove a manual diesel C class until recently (though not brown or a wagon, sadly).
